The Microsoft 365 administrator will provide the Jira site administrator with a token that needs to be inserted into the configuration section. This completes the approval process.
When introducing new permissions that require consent from the Microsoft 365 administrator, a reconsenting process must be followed. This process requires action from both Jira and Microsoft 365 administrators.
Since the initial consenting process has already been completed, Jira administrators can simply provide the previously generated link, which can be found in the configuration section of the app, to the Microsoft 365 administrator.
The Microsoft 365 administrator can then follow the link and provide consent for the app. The consent form will include the newly requested permissions as well as any previously consented permissions. The approval token does not need to be exchanged in this case.
