Synchronizing user directories without LDAP connection (v 3.5)

User Profiles for Confluence (Microsoft Attributes Sync) can also synchronize data from user directories that are connected through one of the following third party apps:

• User Sync: SCIM Provisioning, Group Sync for Confluence | Atlassian Marketplace (starting with version 2.1)

• SAML SSO Single Sign On for Confluence SSO OAuth + User Sync | Atlassian Marketplace (starting with version 5.1)

When User Profiles for Confluence (Microsoft Attributes Sync) is installed, the attributes configured in User Profiles for Confluence (Microsoft Attributes Sync) can be mapped via User Sync connectors and kept up to date via the apps Just-in-Time Provisioning feature. This allows to synchronize user attributes from a cloud Identity Provider like Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, or Google in the absence of an LDAP sync.
