SharePoint Connector 1.9.8 Upgrade Notes (v 1.9)

Restart Required
You will need to restart your Confluence server after upgrading the SharePoint Connector to 1.9.8.
Upgrade Notes
Confluence 5.7 or Later Required
SharePoint Connector Version 1.9.8 provides support for Confluence starting with version 5.7. Please refer to the full details of the supported platforms for SharePoint 2010, for SharePoint 2013 and for SharePoint 2016.
End of support for SharePoint 2007
Starting with this release of the SharePoint Connector, SharePoint 2007 is not supported anymore. End of support means that Communardo Software GmbH will not fix bugs related to the specified version of SharePoint.
Changes to Licence Mechanism
In some cases existing licences will not work after updating to version 1.9.8 due to technical changes that we had to make following the transfer of the code from Atlassian. If you are affected (the UPM is displaying your license as invalid) and
- have a paid licence: please log into my.atlassian.com, copy the licence key for the SharePoint Connector for Confluence and paste it manually into the licence field of the UPM.
- have an evaluation licence: please create a new evaluation licence an use that
This should solve the problem for the future.
Upgrade Procedure
Please keep in mind to upgrade both the Confluence Add-on (found in the Atlassian Marketplace) and the SharePoint Installer (further information below).
There are three upgrade procedures to choose from:
- Option 1: Upgrade your SharePoint Connector on SharePoint 2016. This procedure assumes that you have upgraded your SharePoint server to Microsoft SharePoint 2016. To upgrade the connector, you will install the latest version of the SharePoint Connector plugin in Confluence and upgrade the SharePoint feature in Microsoft SharePoint 2016. See the instructions.
- Option 2: Upgrade your SharePoint Connector on SharePoint 2013. This procedure assumes that you have upgraded your SharePoint server to Microsoft SharePoint 2013. To upgrade the connector, you will install the latest version of the SharePoint Connector plugin in Confluence and upgrade the SharePoint feature in Microsoft SharePoint 2013. See the instructions.
- Option 3: Upgrade your SharePoint Connector on SharePoint 2010. This procedure assumes that you have upgraded your SharePoint server to Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
